Featured at Stop #4 of the North Platte Sculpture Walk is "Aquaman", a striking work by Iowa-based artist Shannon Sargent. Valued at $7,000, this sculpture showcases Sargent’s refined skill and creative vision. He currently serves as the exhibitions and collections coordinator at the Sioux City Art Center, where he oversees the permanent collection and curates installations. In addition to his museum role, Sargent teaches sculpture and serves as gallery coordinator at Morningside College.
