Tranquility in the Familiar brings together a collection of smaller landscape paintings by Nebraska artist Daniel Garringer, offering an intimate look at the places, moments, and familiar scenes that inspire his work. Displayed together as a collection of approximately 20 paintings, the works invite viewers to slow down and find beauty in the everyday landscapes that surround us.
Garringer’s connection to Nebraska’s rural landscape has been a consistent influence on his artistic style. His work often draws on shared experiences and familiar imagery, encouraging viewers to linger with each piece and discover their own meaning within it.
A lifelong Nebraska resident and former art educator, Garringer now works as a full-time studio artist from his home studio and gallery northwest of Kearney.
