Find your balance of mind, body, and spirit at our Tai Chi, Tea & Herbs Workshop. This immersive experience invites you to explore the 13 original postures of Tai Chi while cultivating vitality, strength, flexibility, and inner calm. Guided by experienced instructor Lao Shi Cornell T. Garrett is the founder of Mountain Way - a lifestyle system designed to guide individuals toward a wisdom-centered way of living through the paths of the Sage, Scholar, Healer, and Warrior. With a lifelong dedication to personal development and the study of ancient Eastern traditions, he has trained extensively in Classical Chinese Martial Arts, Health Sciences, and Cultivation practices, including Tai Chi, Qigong, herbal medicine, and meditation disciplines. His accomplishments include being a 3-time district wrestling champion, 2-time Metro Conference champion, 3-time state tournament placer, 3-time national AAU Chinese Martial Arts champion, AAU All-American Team member (1991–1992), Tiger Balm International Champion, 7-time regional champion, and an undefeated MMA competitor. Guided by decades of experience, practicing since 1991, and recognized as an AAU Tai Chi Regional Champion, Lao Shi Garrett teaches gentle, flowing movements designed for all physical ability levels. His instruction blends physical practice with deeper wellness principles, including an introduction to Sandhills Chinese Herbal Science through tea and herbs, creating a well-rounded experience that fosters balance, connection, and vitality. Through Mountain Way, he brings timeless methods into a modern world, helping others reconnect, restore, and find their center. This workshop will offer a peaceful, welcoming environment to slow down, recharge, and reconnect. Lunch will be served, making this a nourishing experience for both body and mind.
