MARTIN MORA FUNDRAISER

Family and Friends of Martin and Alice Mora are joining together to host a benefit for the Mora family. Their son Robin has been very ill since April and is in need of a liver transplant. He is being treated at the University of Colorado Hospital. Martin and Alice have exhausted their funds traveling to be with him throughout his medical treatment.
Join us for pulled pork sandwiches, LIVE music, and a silent auction!

The Prairie arts Center will host a competitive Train Art Show during the month of September. This show will highlight the beauty of the rails and will be held in conjunction with North Platte Rail Days.
Subject must be related to trains in some way. 2-D and 3-D art is welcome. Entry fees are $10 per adult and $3 per youth. All entries must be ready to hang. Prizes will be awarded for 1st Place in 2-D, 3-D, Photography and People's Choice.

Blue Swing Concert at the Prairie Arts Center
Nebraska's premier Gypsy Jazz group:
Featuring vocals by Skylar Stethem; front man and lead guitarist Brandon Raby; on rhythym guitar brother Luke Raby; violin and mandolin, Steve Barger; and original upright bassist, Ronnie Weigel. The group will perform a mix of traditioanl Gypsy Songs and American Jazz in the tradition of the late Django Reinhardt, a repertoire and style of music created in the 1930's.
Tickets $10 each. Cash bar available.
