| JUNIOR ART LEAGUE The Prairie Arts Council Junior Art League is open to everyone between the ages of 10 through 14 years of age who is interested in getting together with other kids their own age and learning, talking, and enjoying various types of art activities. (Above: Organizer Deb Young supervises a recent meeting.) The Junior Art League will meet twice a month. Meetings will be on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Special activities could include visiting artists or other professionals for demonstrations or workshops. Fees are $25.00 for members and $15.00 for non members. Members will be notified each month of needed fees to cover arts supplies. If a member misses 4 meetings in a row without prior notification, he or she may be required to pay the registration fee again. (Above: A member of the Junior Art League works on a project at the October meeting.) Parents will be asked to assist in the chaperoning of meetings as needed. Members of the PAC Junior Art League are expected to volunteer for special events such as fund raisers, arts shows, or advertising.
